In order to manage the obstacles that are present in the environment due to a lack of safe and appropriate employment opportunities some families may make a decision to start their own business using their ‘own’ personal skills so that they can provide a source of income for the young adult so that they can learn, explore and engage successful through working with adults who know them well and know how to support them accurately.
Why is this necessary? What services are lacking in the community? Why are they lacking? Why if there is such a growth of new services being provided in this industry are there families who still feel the need to do this?
