Time management and knowledge are huge issues for families of individuals with chronic conditions especially when it comes to food management. How many locations do you need to go to to find the exact right packaged foods? To find a product that doesn’t contain all of the ingredients that you need to avoid? What happens when the packaging changes yet the product is ‘supposedly’ the same? How much do we learn through challenging behaviours? How much do we learn through changes in toileting and sleeping and regulatory levels?

How many times a day is it recommended to eat versus how many meals you prepare? Are there constant requests for food?  Or is it a struggle to get a meal in? Or is it only mouthfuls and then its done. Does it work only if you sit there and spoon feed every mouthful? What thicknesses and consistencies of foods can be tolerated?
