Access options

Where do you go to learn the skills to interact with the ‘leisure’ activities that you like or want to engage with? Do you have local community centres or facilities that you can attend? Do they offer the variety and the depth that you are looking for? If not, is the type of activity possible to learn at home? No. Then how do you learn it?

Do you know how to learn how to learn?

Being able to learn by yourself involves being able to explore options freely. Look at the difference that having the internet in your hands via a mobile device has made on how quickly we can get information to help us with what we need immediately. That familiarity of speed of access may not match with what is possible in other types of activities. Gaming controllers may need to be ordered to suit individual needs, or there may be limitations in terms of what types of games are available to suit that individuals physical coordination needs.
