Simple coding can require or involve only drag and drop functions.
More complex coding is exactly the same process as moving through any obstacle course where there is a list of repetitive steps to complete based on where you are in the room E.g. Position 4 Spongebob characters on the page and have each of them say something using a speech bubble.
Kids who enjoy gaming sounds / songs may like creating their own simple animations which are literally just linked steps together. This is no different than making a video by linking things together for a video on Youtube. It is just that the symbols to search through for the buttons are positioned differently or use different words or different functions.
