Spending time with best mates

Where do you like to travel to? What are the places that you like sharing with each other? Things that are local to you, places that you see on the tv, places you only read about in Lonely Planet or other guide books. Where did you get to with your parents? Your grandparents? Do you have a list of places that you want to go to?

Do you have maps? For what types of places? The inside of a wardrobe can be a place to put them out of view. Scenery is important. Do you have a camera? A way of printing out your photos and keeping them separate as a way of sharing that with others when you come back.

What do you like to eat? Some places don’t have a lot of food that your stomach might be used to. You might find you need to take things like Vegemite with you. Lunch might be some chips, cheese you don’t recognise and bread you cut up with a pocket knife. Some days that’s all you can find.

Spending time with best mates is just like spending time with your family. You choose things that you like. You go places that you like.
